Linked sites
Use your Crowment account on sites that have their own sign-in, and unlink them whenever you like.
Some sites sign you in to their comments with your account on the site itself. If you also have a Crowment account, you can link the two. This is only possible on sites that allow it.
What linking does
- On that site's pages, the site signs you in to the comments as your Crowment account.
- The comments you wrote there with your site account move to your Crowment account, so they show up in your User Console.
- Your Crowment name and picture are used instead of the ones from the site.
The site can only sign you in this way on its own pages. Crowment shows you this before you confirm.
Link a site
- In the site's comment section, select the link icon next to your avatar.
- Sign in to your Crowment account in the window that opens.
- Confirm on the Crowment page.
Unlink a site
- Open User Console → Profile and scroll to Linked sites.
- Select Unlink next to the site and confirm.
The site no longer signs you in as your Crowment account. Your comments stay with your Crowment account.
