Team and roles
Every widget has one owner, the account that created it. The owner can bring in admins and moderators. Each person needs a Crowment account and is a member of each widget separately.

Only the owner can create or replace the single sign-on signing secret. Billing belongs to the owner's account: the owner's plan sets the limits of the widget, such as how many moderators it can have.
Invite someone
- Open Your widget → Moderators and select Invite people, or press O.
- Enter their Email and choose a Role: Admin or Moderator.
- Select Send Invitation.
They receive an email with a link. After signing in with their Crowment account they see the widget's name and their role, and accept the invitation. The widget then appears in their Site Console.
Invitations expire. Until then, the Moderators page lists them as pending with their expiry date, and owners and admins can revoke them.
Change a role or remove someone
On the Moderators page, each member shows their name, username, email and role. You can manage members whose role is below yours:
- The owner can make a member an admin or a moderator, and remove admins and moderators.
- An admin can manage moderators only.
- Moderators cannot manage anyone, and nobody can change their own role.
Use the search box to find a member by name, username or email.
